Getting Started
Melodio is an AI-powered music creation platform. Describe the song you want — genre, mood, lyrics — and our AI generates a complete, studio-quality track in about 3 minutes. No musical knowledge required.
Creating your first song is simple:
- Go to the Create page
- Choose a mode: Simple (describe what you want) or Custom (full control over lyrics, style, title)
- Write a description like "Upbeat indie pop song about summer road trips"
- Click Generate and wait about 3 minutes
- Your song appears in My Songs with a 45-second preview
Song generation is free and does not cost any credits.
Credits are the currency for unlocking and modifying songs. Different actions cost different amounts:
- Generate a song — free
- Unlock a song — 10 credits
- Cover — 6 credits
- Extend — 6 credits (Premium)
- Mashup — 6 credits (Premium)
- Video — 6 credits (Premium)
- Replace Section — 4 credits (Premium)
- Persona — 12 credits (Premium)
